We had our monthly check-in with the Bonifas Arts Center in Escanaba; Kurt Hauswirth spoke with Pasqua Warstler, Director of Gallery & Regional Projects, about what is coming up on the event schedule.

Kraig Kenning will be returning to the Bonifas at 8 p.m. He has played up to 200 dates a year touring the US for the last 3 decades, showcasing songs from his eight CDs containing almost exclusively original material.

The Detroit Institute of Arts exhibit "Visions of American Life" will be on display until May 23rd in the gallery.

Next time we check in: hear more about the involvement with Artprize, and the Northern Michigan University and Finlandia University students who will take part.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
