Sentencing held for Gwinn man charged with fleeing and eluding

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Gwinn man has been sentenced for fleeing police.  

Kevin Houle, 41, was arrested March 20 after Forsyth Township officers were called to a residence on Thunderchief on a domestic violence report.  Houle was charged with third-degree fleeing and eluding a police officer, two counts of domestic violence, and reckless use of a firearm.

Houle was sentenced to a year in jail with credit for 64 days already served on the fleeing charge.  He was also given two years of probation.  All other charges were dropped.
