Manchester pleads in "warning shots" case

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Negaunee man arrested for firing into the air during a domestic dispute has entered a plea in the case. 

John Manchester, Jr. is accused of firing two “warning shots” at a residence in Marquette Township in January. No one was injured.

Manchester pleaded no contest to felony firearms and 2nd-degree domestic violence. Charges of arson-preparation to burn a dwelling and felon in possession of weapons were dismissed.

Sentencing is set for October 12.
