LANSING, MI (AP)-- Michigan authorities say they arrested 267 drunken drivers during an end-of-summer crackdown that included the Labor day weekend.
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning said Tuesday the stops were made August 16 to September 2. The crackdown was paid for with federal traffic safety funds.
This year's crackdown also included seat belt enforcement. Officers issued more than 4,100 seat belt and child restraint citations.
