Auction items for veterans' fundraiser stolen

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   The Iron Mountain Police Department is looking for suspects in a break-in and theft case.

Officers say Monday someone broke into a storage building belonging to the Buckmasters American Deer Foundation and took $14,000 worth of hunting gear.  The items were to be put up for auction at a fundraising event benefiting disabled veterans next week.

Buckmasters officials say community members are donating money and items so the banquet can still be held as planned.

Anyone with information regarding the crime is asked to call Iron Mountain Police.
