Sault Ste. Marie, MI - The Eastern Upper Peninsula Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force has made several arrests in an ongoing investigation dating back to January. Four suspects were identified at that time. Three were arrested, and one is still at large. He is identified as 23-year old Deon Emmanuel McCuin II. He is wanted on 2-felony counts of ‘controlled substance-operating/maintaining a lab involving methamphetamines.’ He is believed to be in the Detroit area.
Officials say a total of 6-more suspects have been arrested since January.
John Justin Perez is out on bond awaiting sentencing on 2-counts of ‘controlled substance-operating/maintaining a lab involving methamphetamines’ and 1-count of ‘delivery/manufacturing of methamphetamines.’ He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 17th.
The other five suspects are currently being held in the Chippewa County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment or trial. They include Leigh Ann Gugin, of Ishpeming… Michael David Teeple, of Brimley… Alexander Emerson Teeple, of Brimley… Amber Sky Peltier, of Brimley… and Siobhan Kathleen Gregory, of Sault Ste. Marie.
