Marquette domestic violence incident results in arrests

MARQUETTE, MI--   Two people were arrested in connection with a domestic incident in Marquette early Monday morning. 

City police responded around 12:40 a.m. to the 200 block of Blemhuber Avenue in reference to a possible fight and a subject with a gun. 

Officers arrested Kevin Asgaard, 45, of downstate Caledonia for domestic violence and Gregory Asgaard, 41, of Marquette for possession of a firearm while under the influence.  Both were lodged at the county jail.

Officers say injuries were reported at the scene, but not due to the weapon. 

The case remains under investigation pending possible additional charges.
