Arrest for larceny from a motor vehicle made in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   An Ishpeming man has been arrested for stealing items from Marquette vehicles.

The Marquette Police Department was called Sunday around 6 a.m. to the 1500 block of Fair Avenue. They made contact with two male suspects who were allegedly in possession of items that were reported stolen.

Tyler Johnson, 23, of Ishpeming was arrested for larceny from a motor vehicle and a probation violation. He was lodged in the Marquette County Jail pending review of charges by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office.

The other suspect is a 16-year-old boy from Ishpeming.
