NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP, MI-- A Negaunee Township man has been arrested on charges related to “revenge porn.”
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says Matthew Allen Ward, 26, was taken into custody Tuesday following an investigation into his online activity. Officers say a search warrant was executed at his home in August and evidence was seized.
Ward was arraigned Tuesday on six charges, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, child sexually abusive activity, possession of child sexually abusive material, and distribution of child sexually abusive material.
Ward remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $525,000 bond.
