MARQUETTE, MI-- A Gwinn woman has been arrested for passing counterfeit money.
Cammille Leach, 36, was taken into custody Sunday following a lengthy investigation by Marquette Police, Forsyth Township Police, and the Department of Homeland Security.
The counterfeit bills were allegedly shipped to Leach by a suspect in Ghana, Africa and passed in Marquette County.
Leach is charged with counterfeit—coins, possession of 5 or more. She remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on 10 percent of a $5,000 bond.
