Identity of homicide victim released

HARRIS TOWNSHIP, MI--   Officials have released the name of the man killed in Harris Tuesday.

Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post say the victim is identified as Michael Donovan, 74, of Menominee County. He was found in a Harris Township residence around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Police are treating the incident as a homicide. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.

Troopers say a male suspect has been arrested on open murder charges and is lodged in the Menominee County Jail. His name has not been released, pending arraignment in 95th District Court.
