SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (AP) — Trustees for Lake Superior State University in have approved a $60 million, 20-year master plan.
The university in Sault Ste. Marie said in a news release that the Board of Trustees approved the plan Friday, along with backing a proposed $35.5 million budget for the upcoming academic year.
University President Tom Pleger said the three-phase plan includes work on several projects such as renovation to South Hall, a proposal to expand the aquatic research laboratory, and plans to establish a new center for simulation technology for people studying and working in health care.
The plan also has the proposed establishment of new dorms and academic buildings.
