MARQUETTE, MI— Graduates from Northern Michigan University will cross the stage to get their diplomas Saturday.
Spring commencement is being held at 10:30 a.m. in the Superior Dome.
There are 1,012 undergraduate and graduate students eligible to graduate this month, and the 879 who will participate in the ceremony include both May and August 2023 grads.
Former NMU Trustee James K. Haveman will deliver the keynote address and receive an honorary doctorate in public health.
The ceremony will be broadcast on WNMU-TV, Channel 13, starting at 10:30 a.m. and streamed on YouTube.
