NEGAUNEE, MI— “Hank Snow” is coming to party in Negaunee Friday and Saturday.

The Heikki Lunta Winter Festival launches Friday with the lighting of the traditional bonfire at Tobin and Iron Streets at 5 p.m. Then, for the first time, it’s the Irontown Rail Jam and Snowboard competition.

Other activities include snowshoe lantern tours of Historic Old Town Friday night, the Teal Lake Ice Fishing Tournament Saturday morning, a “Freeze Yer Fanny Fatbike Race” at 6:00 Saturday night, and—to cap things off—fireworks at 8:30 p.m.
