Aspirus hospitals and clinics gathering food, funds for food-insecure residents

LAURIUM, MI— Aspirus Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Ironwood and Iron River are joining together to collect food for those in need.

Non-perishable food is being collected through December 2nd at all Aspirus locations. In addition to food items, monetary donations are also being sought. All proceeds will benefit local food pantries.

Anyone who wishes to donate to the food and fund drive is welcome to drop off their donations at Aspirus locations in the Upper Peninsula.

Outdated items will not be accepted. For monetary donations, checks can be made payable to the local community food pantry.
