MARQUETTE, MI-- Two Upper Peninsula health centers are getting additional money to expand COVID-19 testing.
More than $14 million in federal funding is going to 39 centers around the state. It comes from the Department of Health and Human Services as part of the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act.
The Bay Mills Indian Community is getting $143,389, while the Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center will receive $467,779.
