An interview with Marty Achatz

Peter White Public Library is celebrating Native American Heritage Month with community events in November.

The tribal progressive band Waa Wi Ye Yaa will perform a free concert of original songs and music on Tuesday, November 14th at 7 p.m. in the library's community room. Additionally, the library is offering a documentary of 2021's NEA Big Read on Joy Harjo's poetry collection "An American Sunrise." The Big Read offered a series of events over two months, which included a reading by Joy Harjo. The full documentary is available on YouTube (linked below).
