Alexander Vartin Gubbins, a graduate student in the NMU Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing program with an emphasis on poetry, also teaches English Composition. Gubbins hails from northern Wisconsin and was in the U.S. Army Reserves, serving a one-year tour of duty in Iraq.
