Elissa Slotkin is the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 7th Congressional District. She spoke with Public Radio 90's Nicole Walton about running for the seat to be vacated by U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow and what her priorities for the state would be.

Nicole Walton
Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
