US Rep. Elissa Slotkin: the road to the primaries, state issues, and Festival of the Sled Dog

7th District U.S. Representative Elissa Slotkin is in the U.P. to celebrate sled dogs and to meet with potential constituents in her bid for a U.S. Senate seat. She spoke with Public Radio 90 News Director Nicole Walton about the road to the primaries.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
