Interview: Allen Otte of "Percussion Group Cincinnati" and Dr. Jim Strain, NMU Music Department

The Percussion Group Cincinnati will perform and make connections to social justice as a part of the Siril Concert Series, sponsored by the Siril Endowment for the Arts and NMU's Music Department.  One of the members of the trio, Allen Otte, joined Dr. Jim Strain of the NMU Music Dept. in conversation with Classiclectic host Kurt Hauswirth, to discuss all the percussive events this week:

All events involving the Percussion Group Cincinnati and the U.P. Day of Percussion are free and open to the public; Performing Social Justice takes place Tuesday, March 26th at 7:30pm; PGC Live in Concert, on Friday, March 29th at 7:30pm; clinics and performances will take place on Saturday, March 30th starting at 10am (with registration at 9:30am).  All events happen in the Reynolds Recital Hall on NMU's campus.
