The City of Marquette presents the 2021 Art Week, scheduled for June 21-June 26, 2021. One event kicking off the week on June 21st is Revolve, an event presented in collaboration with TaMaMa Dance Company and Superior String Alliance. It is a one-hour, outdoor, structured dance and music performance at Harlow Park, June 21st, 2021 at 4pm EDT.

We had performers from both groups join Kurt Hauswirth by phone to discuss how the arts and performance world is returning, how the collaborative process was born between both groups, and what to expect from a structured improvisation.

Hear the interview with Maggie Barch (of TaMaMa Dance Company), Dani Simandl and Adam Hall (of Superior String Alliance):

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
