Oil painting informed by science, exploring a variety of subjects

Carolyn Snyder of Marquette explores oil painting with a variety of subject matter, through a scientific mind. She is the next Guest Artist at Zero Degrees Gallery. Her oil paintings of nature, colorized electron micrographs (with her choices of color) and portraits make up her display. Her history of studying biology and pharmacology interplay with her love of art and oil painting.

Kurt lives in Marquette with his family and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves music, games, running, being near water, and a fine cold brew coffee.
