Jones sentenced for maintaining a meth lab

ESCANABA, MI--   An Escanaba man who pleaded guilty to a meth-related charge has been sentenced. 

Robert Jones, 52, was one of three suspects arrested in March when they bought components used to make meth.  A search warrant executed at a North 16th Street residence uncovered other meth-making components.

Jones pleaded guilty in June to operating and maintaining a meth lab.  He was sentenced Tuesday to 10 to 20 years in prison with credit for 125 days already served.
