Meth bottles found in Ford River Township

FORD RIVER TOWNSHIP, MI--   The Delta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the dumping of meth-making materials in Ford River Township.

Deputies responded Monday around 2:30 p.m. to a report of a possible meth dump site at the end of 12th Road.  They found two plastic bottles consistent with those used in the so-called “one pot” meth-making process.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team were called in to clean up the site.

The incident remains under investigation.
