Marquette County man caught selling pot

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has arrested a Marquette County man for selling marijuana. 

Wednesday detectives saw a male suspect pass a large amount of marijuana to a female suspect in a parking lot near the intersection of McClellan Avenue and West Washington Street.  Both drove away, but the alleged seller was stopped by City Police.  He was arrested for delivery of marijuana and lodged in the Marquette County Jail.  Over an ounce of pot was seized.

The case remains under investigation.
