MARQUETTE, MI-- NMU’s Northern Climate Network is holding a Climate March in Marquette Saturday.
The city is among thousands aiming to create awareness about environmental change by participating in the People’s Climate Movement this year.
The event features a two-mile march through downtown Marquette, followed by a rally at the Marquette Commons. Information about living lighter will be offered, as will music, dance and food.
The march will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, starting at the Commons.
