MARQUETTE, MI-- The Cut River Bridge in Mackinac County is slated to reopen to traffic Thursday.
The bridge has been under a detour during a $4.8 million repair project. The Michigan Department of Transportation says crews will continue to clean and coat the bridge, but remaining work can be completed with single-lane closures.
And on Monday MDOT will continue work on a flood-damaged storm sewer at the intersection of Hancock and Tezcuco streets in Hancock. The work will require the closure of a lane of US-41.
Tezcuco Street will have two-way traffic between Quincy and Hancock streets for the duration of the project. It’s expected to be completed November 7.
