BARAGA COUNTY, MI-- The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has arrested a Baraga County man in connection with a drug case.
Detectives executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence on M-38. It was the result of an investigation into the sale of crystal meth.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at the residence. Two young children in the home at the time were turned over to relatives.
A search of the house uncovered a small amount of crystal meth, evidence of drug distribution, and $2,580 in cash.
The suspect was on parole at the time he was arrested. He was lodged in the Baraga County Jail on a parole violation. Additional charges for drug distribution are expected, pending a review by the Baraga County Prosecutor.
