Telephone outage in Schoolcraft County

(SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTY)- State police are reporting a cell phone outage in Schoolcraft County… and in Inwood Township, land and cellular phone are not working.

In the case of an emergency, residents of Schoolcraft County are being asked to use a land-line to contact 911.

Residents of Inwood Township can report to the Inwood Township Fire Department where firemen are standing by with radio communication for 9-1-1 service. The Inwood Township Fire Department is located at 1168 West Depot Road.

There is no indication of the cause of the outage or when service may be restored.
