None injured in Munising fire

MUNISING, MI--   A Munising home is a complete loss, following a fire Tuesday morning.

WLUC-TV reports the blaze broke out just before 1:30 a.m. at a residence on Sand Point Road.  The structure was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived at the scene.

It took 30 firefighters and six fire trucks about seven hours to extinguish the blaze.

No one was injured in the incident.  One of the firefighters gave a family dog mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and saved it.

The fire is believed to have started in a detached garage, but the blaze remains under investigation.
