NMU once again called "military friendly"

MARQUETTE, MI--   For the fifth year in a row Northern Michigan University has been named a military-friendly school.

Each year Victory Media releases the list that honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools that do the most to embrace military students and ensure their all-around success.

Northern offers a veterans scholarship that guarantees in-state tuition for veterans pursuing a degree.  It was also selected by the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs last year as a host site for MI-VetSuccess.  The outreach program supports student veterans through a campus counselor.
