MARQUETTE, MI-- Cliffs Natural Resources Michigan employees have made their pledges to the United Way of Marquette County.
Workers at the Empire and Tilden mines, LS&I and the Cliffs Technology Center gave $49,075 dollars toward the 2013-2014 United Way campaign. Cliffs supplied a 50-percent match, bringing the total donation to $73,612.50.
The goal for this year’s campaign is $425,000. Cliffs pledges and donations account for more than 17 percent of that total.
