WASHINGTON, D.C.--   The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is distributing $25 million for Great Lakes navigation projects.

The money represents additional funding for harbor maintenance from $200 million in national funding in the FY-14 omnibus bill.

Upper Peninsula projects to receive funding include dredging in the Menominee Harbor and operation and maintenance of the Soo Locks.

The rest of the projects comprise dredging and additional dredging for downstate rivers and harbors.
