FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, MI-- One person has been killed in a house fire at Sawyer.
The Forsyth Township Fire Department was called Sunday around 12:51 a.m. to 609 Valkyrie Street. One person was found inside the building, but attempts to resuscitate the victim were unsuccessful.
Firefighters contained the blaze to an upstairs bedroom. The rest of the house was slightly damaged by smoke and water.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
