LANSING, MI (AP)-- Michigan's attorney general says two legal resources are available for the state's military families and Michigan veterans.
Bill Schuette says in a statement Monday the Military and Veterans Legal Services Guide is an effort of his office and the Veterans Law Clinic of the University of Detroit Mercy law school. It's designed to provide military personnel and veterans, and those who assist them, with a legal resources directory.
The Michigan Guide to Military Family Law is a collaboration between Schuette's office and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. It's a legal resource manual dealing with family law that will assist members of the military, lawyers, judges and those who advise military personnel and their families.
