MACKINAW CITY, MI (AP)-- Motorists are being urged to use extra caution while crossing the Mackinac Bridge due to blowing snow in the Straits of Mackinac area.
The Mackinac Bridge Authority says in a posting Wednesday morning on its website that the snow is creating limited visibility and may leave the road surface slippery.
Motorists also are instructed to reduce their speed to a maximum of 20 mph and turn on low-beam headlights.
