Gwinn-area house goes up in flames

LITTLE LAKE, MI--   A chimney fire has destroyed a house in Little Lake.

The blaze broke out Monday around 8 p.m. in a residence at 280 North Central Street.  Two people inside the house were able to escape without injury.

Firefighters from Forsyth Township, Sands Township, Skandia, and Palmer responded to the scene.  They say the cold weather got in the way of putting out the flames.
