M-28 closed due to weather--UPDATE

3 p.m.: Officials have reopened traffic on M-28 between Wetmore in Alger County and Kawbawgam Road in Marquette County.

MARQUETTE, MI-- The Alger and Marquette County Road Commissions and Michigan State Police have

closed M-28 between Wetmore and Kawbawgam Road in Marquette County. The closure is due to heavy snow, high winds and zero visibility. The highway will remain closed pending a reevaluation of weather conditions mid-day Friday.
