More recalls from Fiat Chrysler

DETROIT, MI (AP)--   Fiat Chrysler says it is recalling more than half a million more trucks in the U.S. to fix faulty impact sensors.

The carmaker says in a statement posted on the U.S. Department of Transportation's website that the faulty sensors could cause seat belt pre-tensioners to activate and cause air bags to deploy unexpectedly, increasing the risk of crash or injury.

Fiat Chrysler says it is aware of two minor injuries that may be related to the fault, but no accidents. It also said in an e-mailed statement that the problem was mainly affecting four-door vehicles.

On Friday, Fiat Chrysler announced a much bigger recall of about 1.4 million of its cars and trucks in the U.S. to fix the vehicles' software to safeguard it against hacking.
