Vacancy on Gwinn schools board

GWINN, MI - The Gwinn Area Schools Board of Education is looking for a new member.

The board accepted the resignation of A.J. Filizetti effective August 9th. The board has 30 days to fill the vacancy.

The person appointed to the vacant seat will serve until December 31st, 2016. A permanent replacement to serve the remaining 4 years of the 6 year term will be elected in November 2016.

Those interested in filling the vacant seat should apply to the board president by Monday, August 24th.
