Superiorland Concerts: Carols in the Cathedral
With the Marquette Choral Society
Features the annual community Christmas holiday concert performed by the Marquette Choral Society at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Marquette, Michigan. Floyd Slotterback who was music director for 28 years retired after the 2014 performance. The group’s new music director, Erin Colwitz, will conduct her first Carols in the Cathedral concert in 2015. During December we will feature encore presentations of previous years as well as the 2015 concert. Each program is 2 hours.

Paul Winter Consort: Winter Solstice Celebration

John Schaefer hosts this all-new performance, featuring the Paul Winter Consort with Paul McCandless, gospel singer Theresa Thomason, Danny Rivera the “National Voice of Puerto Rico,” and Abdel Salaam’s Forces of Nature percussion and dance ensemble. Slavic Wonders: Christmas with the Rose Ensemble

A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols Live

Hope College Vespers

Thousands of members of the Holland, Michigan and Hope communities gather for the services each year. Includes Hope’s Chapel Choir, College Chorus, and Symphonette, as well as organists, the flute choir and brass ensemble.
