MARQUETTE, MI-- Michigan State Police posts are teaming up with the Drug Enforcement Administration for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, posts across Michigan will serve as drop-off points for expired, unused, and unwanted medications for disposal. No liquids, inhalers, patches, or syringes will be accepted. The service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.
In the U.P. the Calumet Post will serve Baraga, Houghton, and Keweenaw counties; the Gladstone Post will serve Delta and Menominee counties; the Iron Mountain Post will serve Dickinson and Iron counties; the Negaunee Post will serve Alger and Marquette counties; the Sault Ste. Marie Post will serve Chippewa and Luce counties; the St. Ignace Post will serve Mackinac and Schoolcraft counties; and the Wakefield Post will serve Gogebic and Ontonagon counties.
