Alger County, MI - An Alger County man facing criminal sexual conduct charges has been granted a motion for a psychiatric evaluation. According to WLUC-TV, 39-year old Matthew Jaqua was also granted a motion for the appointment and payment of an expert for the case. Jaqua was arrested in February on 6-counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct involving incidents that occurred between 2005 and 2011. He faces up to life in prison. No further court dates have yet been set pending results of the evaluation.
