SILVER CITY, MI-- A home in the Western U.P. has been destroyed by fire.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched Wednesday around 2:40 a.m. to 242 Chase Avenue in Silver City.
They say a husband, wife, and three dogs were able to make it safely out of the home.
The house is considered a total loss.
The White Pine Volunteer Fire Department, Ontonagon Volunteer Fire Department, and Ontonagon County Victim Services assisted at the scene.
