GLADSTONE, MI-- The Gladstone Public Safety Department is getting a new fire truck.
Representatives from the City and the Fire Department will be on hand Friday at 9 a.m. to welcome the new truck, manufactured by CSI Emergency Apparatus, LLC out of Grayling.
The John & Melissa Besse Foundation provided $500,000 last September for the purchase of the vehicle and other firefighting equipment for the City of Gladstone. In honor of their gift the Foundation’s name is displayed on the truck.
The new vehicle replaces an aging 1988 GMC Grumman pumper.
