HOUGHTON, MI-- The state Fire Marshal has been called to investigate a fire in downtown Houghton.
WLUC-TV says the Friday night fire at 511 Shelden Avenue destroyed four apartments, displacing one family and several individuals. Two nearby businesses were severely damaged.
Officials don’t know the cause of the fire.
The Fire Marshal is expected to look at the burned-out building Wednesday.
