Trooper training seminar to be held in Lansing

LANSING, MI--   The Michigan State Police is holding a training seminar for those interested in becoming a state trooper. 

The event will feature male and female officers, supervisors, and command officers.  They’ll answer questions about recruit training, the lifestyle of a trooper, and opportunities in the Michigan State Police. 

Presenters will include members of the Canine Unit, Emergency Support Team, Aviation Section, Bomb Squad, Forensic Science Division, Gaming Section, and Special Investigation Section.

The seminar takes place Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m. at the MSP Training Academy in Lansing.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
