Allouez Township fire under investigation

ALLOUEZ TOWNSHIP, MI--   Officials are investigating the cause of a fatal fire in Keweenaw County Friday. 

WLUC-TV reports seven fire departments were called to the 300 block of Seneca Street in Allouez Township Friday morning.  Two bodies were found inside the home once the fire was extinguished.  Their identities have not yet been released.

A Michigan State Police fire marshal is on the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
