KEARSARGE, MI-- Two people are safe, following an early-morning fire in Houghton County.
Around 1:30 Monday morning the Sheriff’s Office responded to the house fire on Second Street in Kearsarge.
Deputies assisted a couple of occupants out of the house. The Calumet Township Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.
Michigan State Police and the Laurium Village Fire Department assisted at the scene.
